Bud, I'm interested, but would like to know first what name cars and drivers are confirmed.........
I did attend one of the past Arlington,WA dragstrip reunions, where they had a Cacklefest and that was really cool.......hearing, smelling and feeling the 50' and 60's era dragsters.........

Perfect weather for it too: cloudy, light rain all weekend. Monday's supposed to be nice though...

My 6-year old son heard the commercial for it on the radio and wants to go BAD. Our backup plan is to stay home and watch Indy and then the 600.

Seattle spring/summer joke: What do you call two consecutive days of rain? A weekend.

stay home and save your dough...fricken weather!!!!

there was some cool stuff there but most was covered or in the trailer...we had no rain for 45 mins mid day and they about had the track right..and guys were getting ancy and firing stuff up...that was very cool...I have a bunch of pics and a few vids to link but photobucket went down right in the middle of download...maybe I broke it????

kids loved it!, even when there eyes started watering bad when we hung out behind a serious dragster warming up...

watched a really clean old digger with a injected SB warm up..kids dug it big time and the guys were cool and were impressed with the kids when we hung in tight with them during warm up and invited them in there pit after it shut down , the little guy sat in the car and they gave the kids hot wheels and cards of there car. great people!!

anyway it had the potential to be something really neat but Mother Nature is fuc*&^<<> with us big time in the NW as usual.

my wife nagging me daily about moving to Phoenix is really starting to sound good, maybe I can wax Sams cars or be a Pool boy....arggggg

Yeah Bud, I checked the website for ticket prices: $25 per adult and $10 for the little ones! Man, it had better be sunny and 80 degrees before I dig that kinda' coin out of my pocket! I think I'll wait for the Northwest Nationals in a few months.

I had the nerve to flip them some sh^% when I paid up ...I asked if they were really going to charge people to stand in the rain with them and look at cars in trailers....should have seen the look on the gals face...here boss was ready...oh its going to clear and we are set to dry the track...

ummm have you looked N S E W ....???...nothing but black and ugly stuff floating around and the doppler was almost solid green...I know it takes dough to run the place but that was pretty rude considering how the weather was going to play out all day...it was like it was Nov out, no chance of it not raining.

I love it here and like my spread but I almost cant take it anymore...enjoying my cars outside for a couple months of the year is getting old...I didnt know any better until I was down there...the car scene is so cool its like the Twilight Zone or something. I need a place out by Anthem without all the stuck up rules..I keep a nice place but not parking on the street in front and some of the other stuff is a little to much...I can slam up my own place its the dam water thing that has a guy over a barrell.
