how did the package work did it recived a under hood and trunk light when you had the lower dash lights

IIRC, the courtesy light in the roof was a stand alone standard install on a coupe, and under dash for convertibles. After that, ZJ9 was an upgrade.

The trunk and underhood light were only available as part of the ZJ9 Auxiliary Lighting package, which had to be ordered separately - it wasn't included in any other option.

so the car could have just the lower courtesy dash lights alone my car has standard interior but has the lower courtesy and glove box light only
