Hi Friends, respectfully, the 1969 (3947619) version is very different from the 1967 & 1968 (3916637) assembly line units... long versus short water pump the likely reason.

nos ones have a hole in them down on the left side and also have the inner lip cut out. Bob Harris sells the best repo. one
