Default Painting underside of Cowl Hood 76 Yellow

Can anyone tell me how the underside of a cowl hood was painted from the factory? For instance, does the yellow only get sprayed down along the edges on the side of the hood, or did they paint the leading edges on the underside as well?

Also, how is the back edge of the hood finished? Somehow I am picturing the back edges being black on the underside with a black flapper door frame but would think some overspray got the underside as the cart went by with the front end parts laid out? I read there was a one-inch gap between the side panels but I'm unsure about the back edge of the cowl and how it was sprayed on the cart?

I'd really like to see a picture of an original 76 cowl hood opened up if anybody has one?

I'm looking to do mine as a factory appearing hood. Any help is appreciated.
