Anyone know what a 1972 Nova SS came with from the factory concerning the cooling fan? Was it a 7 blade fan with the clutch fan setup?

Pretty sure '72 Super Sport Novas came standard with a 4 bladed,no clutch fan.
If it was ordered with Heavy Duty cooling or Air Conditioning, then it got the 7 bladed clutch fan. |

I would agree with Rick's info on the clutch fan use.

Nova's got the bare minimum of everything. Whatever the camaro did not use the lowly nova got.

Sorry for the wrong info... I thought for sure by 72 they were using the larger clutched fan set ups..
