Default 1971 Camaro RS/SS factory 4 speed tuxedo black

I know these aren't as popular as the first gens but I just had to share my latest craigslist find, 1971 Camaro z27 SS RS with a 19 19 paint code, original motor was long gone but included with the car was the orginal M20 Trans.

The hood was something I had I threw it on the car, I'm not sure what kind of hood it is I had one on my 73 z28 when I was 16 and loved it, since I try to buy them when I see the hoods come up at swap meets but they are far and few between, I was thinking about throwing it back together and just beating it around town until my 69 is done

Good luck, looks like a fun project. Any rust issues? I would love to find something like that for my youngest son

Needs some typical work but isn't to bad at all, needs a passenger side quarter, the doors need some work along with the lower fenders, it needs the driver side floor patched, frame rails and cowl is immaculate

Nothing wrong with the second gens in my opinion at all. They need more respect just like the novas. Great cars that ran real well.
