I have searched a number of "places" for head bolt torque specs on the early 70's 454 engine. There seems to be a difference of opinons as to these torque specs. I have noticed 75 ft lbs on long bolts and 65 ft lbs on short bolts. I have seen 80 ft lbs on both long and short.
So I ask the engine builders here -- what torque value is correct using standard 8180 FelPro gaskets? Thanks in advance -- TAZ

Always used 65 and 75 with sealant. Torque in correct sequence.
