Any idea where to get replacement keys? I only have the original ones and I want to put those away and get new ones to use daily, thanks

Our local hardware stores don't carry blanks that will fit, unfortunately.
I'll try to find some old school hardware store somewhere local, but if not, I'll check that site out, thanks.

![]() If you just need something quickly, newer ones may work even though a different/newer style head shape. Compare the shaft shape and grooves w/ your originals and chose a matching blank that would slip into the keyed cylinder...cutting the notches is what makes it turn in the lock. Whether you buy the blanks at the same place as whoever cuts them or not, if the blanks/grooves match, a duplicator machine run by someone in the know can cut them to fit. Good luck! Yeah, thanks Pete. My dad used to key his own locks at home (talk about an old school body man, whew) and I used to watch him do it. The places I went (HD and Lowes) had clerks who were completely clueless and just looked at it and said they didn't have the proper blanks.

Yes you can use the newer style key. I have a spare set for my 67 that I use.
If you are wanting original looking then you need a C & D. I sent you a pm too.. http://www.camaros.org/keysandlocks.shtml#blank |
