well, its been about 7 years since I finished the resto on my COPO Chevelle. Since it has been finished I have never been happy with the canshaft in the mnotor..ts a little big..sounds mean, but does'nt run worth a crap!....so I had Chris Straub grind me a up custom solid roller more along the lines of a stock cam rather than the "racey "cam that was in it. I suppose I could change the cam with the motor in the car, but I think I will pull the motor so I can clean and repaint some stuff, replace the repro exhaust manifolds that were temporary ( 6 years ago) as one of the originals had broken while assembly was going on...repaint the motor as it is peeling and showing some small leak/seepage around the gaskets.
