Hey Guys and Gals,
You may know me as "The barn find guy" or "The Automotive Archaeologist". I recently ran the "Barn Find" section at MCACN. I had this gentleman contact me about his "barn find" (might be a stretch though). He sent me some pictures as he rolled it out of his barn over the weekend. I wanted to get your opinion on it. It is the last 1969 Yenko Camaro made. Bought from, V.V. Cooke, in Louisville,KY. You can see the cob webs in the pictures of the under carriage. As I was told, all the numbers match. The only things non original are the usual things...tires, belts hoses. He did put a stainless exhaust system under it when he freshened it up, cleaned and painted the frame and bottom of the car as well as putting the original engine back in around 1986. He left the scattershield on from his racing days. It had a bigger engine in it for a while in the 70's, but still never drove it much. The paint and the interior are original,as is the vinyl top. It is not, a perfect car. It has chips here and there in the paint along with a small amount of rust under the lower edge of the top. Original owner car, says he has all paperwork but the window sticker. What do you guys think? What's it worth? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() More pictures here. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v5...enko%20Camaro/ Let me know.
