One of my dummy friends drug this out of a garage in Ca. yesterday. 11000 miles.

What a fantastic car! I love hardtop, pillar-less '50's-era station wagons. I know Buick made them but didn't know that Mercury did too.

Wow. Love all the &quot;Turnpike Cruiser&quot; emblems, the clear plastic seat covers, and the Virgin Mary statue. Still the original CA plates. An AC radiator cap....would that have been OEM or a service replacement? Evidence of two trips south of the border....those alone account for many of the miles on the car. Those horizontal slide things on the interior door panels must be the door locks. Are those still the original tires? Very, very cool [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/drool.gif[/img]

The picture of the guy in the giant chair reminds me of an updated version of Edith Ann from Laugh-in [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/haha.gif[/img]
