Great job. Totally agree leave that factory interior as is, a good cleaning. Exactly with you also on the spoliers, didnt come with it leave them off. Buy a good DZ block and build a factory 302 to specs, Muncie M21 4 speed or M20. Please keep us updated on progress and pictures too. Great find. Congrats.

Kerry pointed this out to me several weeks ago, but did anybody else notice the factory misalignment of the pinstriping where the Hood meets the cowl?

Awesome car, glad it found you!

No i did not see this. Interesting i wonder if the hood or cowl panel may have been changed at one time or repainted? That seems a little more than off then what the factory inspection would allow, or maybe not.

I’ve told this before on the site. My cousin Jerry Stephens hired in at the Norwood plant in 1968. He worked there until the buy outs started when they announced the plant closing. Jerry told me he never heard a single word from any management people about quality. It was always production! Get em out the door as quick as they possibly could.
This stripe misalignment sounds like a nothing thing back then. Get it out the door n hurry up!

Congratulations Kerry!" You are a fantastic caretaker and will bring this car to what ever level you choose and your brother will build and work his magic on any drivetrain you choose. Look forward to seeing your progress!!!

Hello Steve hope you and your brother are doing well on this new year. Yes we will build some kind of a correct appearing motor and have fun with the car. Got leads on a couple 302 blocks. Thanks Kerry
