Ralph, your tire looks to have been made at the Topeka plant 51st week of 1971.

Ralph,
The pics you posted in thread linked in post 1 show what we used to call a [wholesale] BLEM.
Likely done late 70's.

BLEM tires have only cosmetic issues.
A true BLEM would have white letters that were too much white or not enough.
That was the most common issue with tires like yours.

Note your BLEM mark is in a bare spot.
NOT over the DOT.
Note the tread tag has no BLEM marking.
Note the white letters are good= not a real BLEM.

Was told by a dealer back in early 80's Goodyear did this to obsolete- hard to sell tires so they could be sold cheaper with no warranty.

Made sense as we would encounter bunches of them like you have with nothing wrong with them.

True BLEMs sometimes had Goodyear and or DOT stuff ground off.
Have seen a few with that stuff ground off and FARM USE ONLY burnt into them.

Yours are easy to fix if all are like the one you posted.

My old 72 LT-1 M22 coupe would have been a good place for 5 of yours [depending on dates] of course.
If you got them from 1 place I would not be surprised if all 6 are close date wise.

These 2 cars had their new condition spares.
I found 4 more for each car.

The Hemi Coronets added 4 were all spare wheel- tire assys from other 66 Hemi cars. Later car so tires were all older than car.

The tires on 66 Hemi Mopar's are unique to them.

67 Chevelle had its "DG" wheels still, so it was easier as non- disc brake cars had same tires.
Snafu was 67 tires are "NF NYLON".
nOT "Load Range B"

This was much easier to do in 1985

Last pic is last year at MCACAN and it is not mine anymore

Are the dates close?
Remember they need to be older than car.

The problem with mine as 3 are newer than the car.
AND it came with Firestones to boot.

The BLEM mark on pictured tire would be easy to fix.

Value is tough as many could care less about this level of detail.
That said to the person that wants a car as close as possible to how it was new tires are one of the hardest details to get right.

Some may only want 1 to have a new condition spare.

I would test the market with the one that is the most out of place date wise.
GOOD LUCK

Ralph,
Should add that what cars take these tires is a big deal.
You may have only 1972 [depending on dates] Corvettes for these.

There was a 15" WTGT version COPO- YENKO tire listed here for $1,500.

My set is proper for the same 14" tire cars down to dates.
The car these will end up on if it goes that way is a COPO Chevelle.
Its spare has the same date as the newest one of mine.
Same assy plant on all 5 also.

Tires for Hemi wing Mopars and Boss 429 cars in NOS condition with proper dates are spendy for sure
