Nice story, the flat spokes look like crap!

That excuse sounds very strange but ok. My first thought was, how much does this "mold" actually cost to produce and if the majority of their customer base likes and wants the rounded face (me included), why not just write it off and produce what is being asked. My totally novice brain is telling me and I am guessing around $100,000 for a new mold? Peanuts in the grand scheme of things. They could still keep the flat mold and continue to produce them as well so not loss.

There's 10s of thousands waiting for the round spoke direct drill cragars to appear, even as a second set to rotate. Most of those/us won't buy the flat stuff. I already have 2 sets of the flat versions that I'd replace, so probably a buyer of 12 new wheels.....waiting.

Post Cragars...

I agree...the old school style would really sell. Just posted in the Parts Wanted section...looking for some old style 15 inch Cragars.

Come up with any story you want but it’s not what was originally produced nor is it what people really want. So, do it right and make a fistful of $$ selling what is really wanted..

Agreed. Round spoke Cragars on 1st gen Camaros in my opinion are the 1st choice. Try finding a set of nice 15x7 direct drill round spoke used wheels. I went with my 2nd choice, American Racing TTs, Chinese wheels. I would have gladly paid for new round spoke Cragars.
