A couple more 67 Chevelle questions
Trying to see if I can correct a couple items that could be wrong on this recent purchase- 396/325 (original engine), TH400, with air conditioning. 07B date on the trim tag.
The alternator is a chrome one that I would like to replace. Should this be a #1100750, 61 AMP? The quadrajet on the car now is a #7037211, which is apparently for an A.I.R. car? The engine code is TO626ET, which seems to call for a #7027210, non-A.I.R. from what I have been able to look up online. Does this look correct? Thanks for any help.

I would think you can go with a 7027200 EARLY Auto trans Quad OR 7027210 OR 7027216
1100750 is correct for Turbo 400 and AC |

I asked a similar question recently, and I am aware of the possible 3 part numbers for the '67 Quadrajet for the 396/325 TH400, but can you go any further regarding approximately "when" the 7027210 and 7027216 style Quadrajets started production/use? My '67 was assembled 3rd week in May ''67 and the engine stamp is original to the car...May 10th Tonawanda stamp. Thanks, John |
