As I am preparing to paint another heater box I realized I gave bad info to you and others Mitch.

The paint I use is Rust-Oleum Black Stainless Steel. The Hammered Gray was used on freshening my old Craftsman box, a very good match.

I apologize for any inconvenience

Yeah, I didn't think I saw any hammered effect in that pic you posted ??... Mine is very close and I didn't think to take a pic while in the shop today. I moved it, twice, while rearranging the car and everything around it to get the Chevelle in. Making some changes and adding more missing parts. Hoping to drive it on a Chevelle Club tour Saturday....if it doesn't rain. Still don't know why the wipers don't work, but I now have brake lights and turn signals...

Camaro got pushed into the corner to make room for big brother. Hoping to drive it Saturday and made a number of changes to get ready for that.
