Default 1969 302 Block V1217DZ

This is a standard bore 3932386 casting DZ block Cast date December 11, 1968. It’s been stored since early 80s with my parts I am now selling. Have a crank as well, not sure if it is from this block. It is standard. Also have rods and pistons with the correct numbers cast on the underside. Pictured is a faint Vin stamping by the oil filter. There is a scar in #7 cylinder, also pictured, from a piston pin. Cam bearings and plugs were removed prior to cleaning. Great opportunity for someone needing a block with this date.
I can strap to a pallet and ship by truck. Prefer pickup of course near Palm Springs CA.

Have you tried reading the partial vin? Might be able to list it in the Orphans section at CRG. Never know, may be able to re-unite with original car.

I had a Dec 18 block a few years ago. VIN was not readable. Sold it to a member here who had a Z with V1218DZ on the POP!!! Not likely the original car, but about as close as you get.

Good luck.

I have a few images of this stamping from when you posted the rough casting area in June 2024. Looks the partial VIN is 19N569414
