I almost bought a 67 El Camino in this same color combo many years ago "even the vinyl top". The guy sold the car out from under me after I bought my plane ticket. Really pissed me off. A couple of years later I was at a gas station and the car was at a gas pump next to me. Talked to the owner to confirm and let him know what happened, of course he had no knowledge of what the guy had done. It was a really neat coincidence since I lived in South Georgia, and we were at a gas station in North Carolina.

Awesome car. Saw it at Dave's shop and at MCACN after it was finished. One of a kind for sure. Love the color combo. Pic's do not do it justice. GLWTS
