My Beaumont was built on this day in 1967. I've owned it almost 22 years.

I'll Try to make a long story short. A friend of mines father was friends with a guy that purchased the car in 1971 from the insurance auction. Supposedly the car was taking apart one head, intake and carburetor was in the trunk. He assembled the motor and it ran hot so he took the motor out of the car and it sat in the garage. He passed away about 15 years ago & my friend introduced me to his wife and I was lucky enough to buy it a couple years ago. she wanted it to go to the right person. unfortunately the motor and tranny is MIA from what I was told he had the original Motor & tranny and it was a L89 but she says it wasn't the original one.

Boy, that's a real beauty. Did you put the 427 in yourself? Really cool Beaumont.

I put it in about 17-18 years ago and had it rebuilt 7 or 8 years ago. It is a real Jan 1969 4 bolt main with the original 840 heads. The block has been bored .070 and has a set of custom Diamond pistons. It has a hydraulic roller cam, Edelbrock Airgap intake with an 850 Holley carb. It dynoed at 543 hp and 532 ft lbs torque. Below is a video of it running.
