Dubbed, “Destroyer” – this 1966 Pontiac GTO Custom is a remarkable build blending modern features with an iconic American muscle car. It's powered by a LM 6.0L V8 with 616hp and 4L60E automatic transmission. As the VIN number indicates this car was built in Freemont, California as a 1966 Pontiac GTO 2-door Coupe. It was discovered in Nevada by its previous owner who started a comprehensive rotisserie restoration in early 2019. It was purchased in 2020 by MS CLASSIC CARS who completed the build in August of 2024. This car is in show quality condition throughout and it performs excellent. Since completion it's been driven less than 100 test miles and is ready for the new owner to enjoy. September of 2024 is the first time it's been listed for sale.

The exterior is absolutely stunning with its overall appearance and it's the center of attention wherever it goes. During the restoration body work process the factory drip rails, wiper holes and vents, mirrors, headlight buckets, door handles, key slots and emblems were shaved for a smooth finish. The headlight bucket trim, trunk lid trim and lower rocker trim was removed. It was also setup with a set of ABC Performance mini tubs to accommodate larger rear wheels. Countless hours were invested in making the body very straight. It was refinished in the modern color of Destroyer Gray which dresses it perfectly. The fresh paint was recently detailed to a high-gloss finish. The front and rear bumpers were smoothed, painted and tucked for a more modern appearance. All of the tinted glass was replaced new including the front and rear glass which was custom installed for a unique look. Some of the other custom features include Magical Racing carbon fiber mirrors, black trimmed grille and honeycomb insert, modern LED halo headlights and black trimmed LED rear taillights. The car has a killer stance on custom Forgeline AL300 wheels that have a bronze center and black lip. The front wheels are 19x9 and the rear wheels are 20x12. The front tires are Lexani LX Twenty 245-35-19 and the rear tires are Pirelli P-zero 325-35-20.

The interior is a one-of-a-kind luxurious design that provides comfort and convenience. The doors are opened with the Guard Dawg Keyless remote entry system. The accessories mode and illuminated push-start button is also part of the system. The custom headliner, dash, console, door panels, front and rear bucket seats were wrapped in Beluga Black and Ferrari Tradizionale Tan upholstery. The HEX handcrafted panels on the kick panels, door panels and rear quarter have custom designed inserts. Some of the other custom features include a LED dome light, red LED under dash lighting, One Gauge display, Restomod Air Vapir 2 Air Conditioning and heating system, machined controls and vents, Flaming River painted tilt steering column, Billet Specialties Victory black steering wheel, power seats, seat belts, aluminum pedals, plush carpeting and GTO embossed floor mats. The center console houses Eonon stereo with Android operating system, USB outlets, power window switches, exhaust cut out switches, Lokar shifter with leather boot, cup holders, storage compartments and padded arm rest. The truck lid pivots on Eddie Motorsports black billet hinges. The trunk compartment was boxed and wrapped with matching upholstery. The floor was covered with matching carpeting. In case of a power failure there are emergency pull handles to open the driver's door and trunk.

The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout. The hood pivots on Ring Brothers black aluminum hinges. The backside of the hood, firewall, inner fenders and fabricated radiator support panel was painted body color. The firewall was dressed with Hex handcrafted panels which carries the theme. The car is powered by a Ross Automotive Machine built LM 6.0L V8 with LS3 823 aluminum heads. The engine was dyno tested with 616hp @ 6651rpm and the dyno sheet is included. Some of the engine internal upgrades include Comp hydraulic roller cam, forged rods, Speed Pro pistons, Moly rings and push rods, Yella Terra aluminum roller rockers and Melling oil pump. It's equipped with a FiTech 750 fuel injection system kit which includes the computer and complete intake system. The engine is outfitted with Holley black finned valve covers, CVF black serpentine system and Holley black oil pan. The engine is cooled by a Griffith aluminum radiator with dual Spal electric fans. The engine breathes through custom headers and dual exhaust system with Pipes Turbo mufflers. The exhaust has been setup with electric cut outs for a louder sound. The entire exhaust system was treated to a Titanium cerakote coating and exits through rectangular exhaust tips. The engine is coupled to a PerformaBuilt Pro Race 4L60E automatic transmission with TCI torque converter and Hooker cross member. The power is transferred to the custom Ford 9” POSI rear end with a Nodular Yukon Pro Center section, 35 spline axles, billet yoke and reinforced housing. The entire unit was powder coated Bronze to match the wheels. It's equipped with a Optima Red Top battery with built in charger.

The undercarriage is also highly detailed throughout. The new floors were painted body color. The frame was stripped, boxed for strength and painted black. The Tanks Inc. fuel tank has a HyperFuel fuel pump. It's equipped a Flaming River power rack and pinion steering system. The suspension system consists of a Ridetech Stage 4 complete pro touring suspension package which includes RT front coil overs, QA1 rear coil overs, tubular upper and lower control arms, monster sway bars and rear 4-link.
