Default Correct Finish LOOK: Sway Bars, Leaf Springs, Center Link

Didnt want to open a 20+ year old thread so starting this one..................

Ive been going to Camaro Natl's, Super Car ReUnions, MCACN etc etc since
the late 1990's.................

Ive seen so many different "looks" for Leaf Springs, Sway Bars, Center Links.
Wanting to learn if there is any definitive BEST "Looks" for these Parts

Dont want cast blast leaf springs............Dont want to deal with RUST
two years after my trailer queen is done

Some of my 2nd Gen LEGENDS Friends are taking leaf springs to bare steel and
then covering with FLUID FILM.

I'm leaning toward having my leaf/coil springs METAL Shot Blasted and then covering
with Matte Clear CERAKOTE
Alternative to this would be to use a CERAKOTE Color from this page. Ive ordered
sample swatches but dont know what BEST "LOOK" would be

https://www.cerakote.com/shop/cerako...=cera_c_series

If you wont post good pics here , please consider sending to [email protected] with product name and description of method

These were done with a wire wheel on a drill to start with. After that they were soaked in Evapo-rust. Rinsed & dried. Went over them with 0000 steel wool & sprayed them with satin clear. I'm pretty sure I did the same with sway bar & center link..Joe

Chuck:

Here is a write up on how I did mine. They still look good 12 years later.
