Default Full re-wire of 68 Nova- advice/help

Hi All,

In beginning stages of a full restoration. There isn’t a stitch of wiring on the car, so every wire/harness will be needed.

It is “as original”, NOS part type resto - so looking for the best/factory setup. No HEI, no extra connections.

I’ve done a ton of research and narrowed it to Lectric Limited “Original design” and American Autowire “Factory fit” … both seem to be made from GM blueprints etc…. Lectric even states it will pass judging it’s so factory correct….

I know it’s an age old topic on forums, but finding RECENT feedback on either of these kits isn’t as easy to find as I thought. Lots from years ago, but I’m sure offerings have changed - amd very little on full factory type restos.

Any of you have recent experience with either (or both) of these kits? Originality and Completeness of the kits, Ease of install (should be plug and play) - materials provided (Diagrams to compliment the AIM), and customer service/tech help if needed…

I’ve seen on some posts for the 1st Gen Camaro, there are some issues with wiring for the console gauge harness. Nothing else I can recall.
