Attended last year for the first time with our 66 L79 Chevy II and had a great time. Attending this year just as a spectator and cant wait. Only thing I'll miss is the set up portion, Honestly it was the best part for me because we got to see it all come together.

I often say it is like taking a big boxed puzzle and shaking it for five minutes, than slowly but surely placing every piece into the proper place. When I arrive to a pretty much empty building I think, wow...how will we ever fill this? And piece by piece, car by car, it all comes together in an organized chaos kind of way.

We have a really great team, and many of our team members are past (or in several cases present) show participants. Of course, we simply ask for patience and understanding from everyone, as it is quite an undertaking.

For those that are joining us for the very first time to show a vehicle, trust us...the huge fiasco of a mess actually does come together and when you come back after having a nice dinner Friday night and you enter the show floor Saturday morning, you will be blown away by the transformation that takes place before the gates open. Ask those who have shown with us...

And that is my favorite part; standing on those steps Saturday morning before we open and seeing what a great job our team has done to make it happen.

And that transformation can run into the wee hours of Saturday morning to get accomplished too. I doubt many spectators have a CLUE as to how much work goes into having everything ready for them.
