1969 L78 375hp 396 "JH" suffix for 4spd Nova VIN - last digit factory double stamped 8 over 7 (car with this VIN still exists, but owner is not interested in putting it back to original  )Sept 20th 1968 assembly date for early 69 model year. I 14 8 casting date (Sept 14th 68) +.060 and needs a sleeve in #1 cylinder (see pics) Original forged crank, dimple rods, etc. 840 rectangle port heads I 10 8 and H 1 8 casting dates.
