Default Pavilions Rock and Roll Car Show September 14, 2024

I was pleasantly surprised to see all of the old cars cruise over to Pavilions Saturday evening even though temps were in the low 100's. A bunch of Pontiacs almost filled club row. Finally had a Pavilions cruise worth sharing here.

I was expecting this sort of turn out next week when temps will be in the low 90's. Time to break out the old cars! The snowbirds will start arriving in a month.

I've been staying late at Pavilions each Saturday I've attended, so I'm not sure I'll be able to post photos here for Sunday morning viewing each week. Might become a Monday morning thing.

I'll start with a frequently seen '66 Impala.

Original paint (and everything else) Maverick

No ice cream today

Believe it or not, this was a semi-basket case when Jerry bought it and fixed it.

Came back from Denny's to find lots more cars there!

At least he attempted to contain his coolant mess. Most just let it run where ever.

Wow!

That's all for tonight. Looks like cruising in the valley has restarted.

Good to see you are back at it... Great pics. Not often do you see a white 65 GTO, maybe a low number painted that colour...

As always, thanks Rick for sharing the pictures.
There were some really beautiful Pontiacs there, wow, and those '69 Firebirds are stunning. You don't see nearly as many first gen FB's as you do Camaros, so it's cool to see some really nice quality ones out there. And I love the TA's as well.
Thanks again.
