2020 Prostock schedule...5 tracks gone...5 return
The NHRA Mello Yello Series announced several changes to its Pro Stock class schedule for 2020.
The class schedule, which was reduced from 24 to 18 races for 2019, will remain at 18 for 2020. The schedule, however, will have a new look, as five events have been dropped and five added.
Leaving the Pro Stock slate in 2020 will be Richmond, Chicago, Denver, Brainerd and St. Louis, while the class will return to NHRA race weekends at Houston, Atlanta, Topeka, Bristol and Epping.
The Pro Stock racers will also compete in five events of the six-race NHRA Mello Yello Countdown to the Championship next season. Pro Stock will race in Countdown races at Reading, Charlotte, Dallas, Las Vegas and Pomona, while sitting out the St. Louis weekend of the Countdown.
