Way back when I was involved in the Camaro business, we loved 'package' deals. If you're reasonably sharp, you will sell half of the pile for as much or more than you paid for all of it. What often happens is the car gets quickly flipped for most if not all the investment. Buyer keeps the parts, now free.
The value in the sheet metal involved is that it is probably older true NOS, not the poor-fitting crap GMPD sold in the '90s.
Unreal is right. Whoever buys the car has dibs on the parts.
