Regarding the hood hinges, they were on the car and looked aged so thought they were original.
I have tried to pivot hinge no luck.
Yes aftermarket cowl seal and have been looking for an NOS haven’t found one yet. I may remove part of the cowl seal to see if that helps. I have stuck my hand under the hood at the problem area but seems the cowl seal does not have a lot of pressure from the hood
