Default Penske L88 Prototype

Roger Penske is a living legend. A fabulous winning driver, race team owner and businessman.

Penske as a driver was successful winning the 1963 feature race at Nassau driving Grand Sport No. 004. In 1965 another victory at Nassau driving Grand Sport No. 005, defeating a Cobra driven by Ken Miles. He retired from driving in 1965.

His first race shop was in my hometown of Newtown Sq. Pa., and his success as a team owner began by winning the GT class at the 1966 24 hours of Daytona. Notice the front nose was missing, but that didn't stop the Penske team from winning...

It is just amazing what Roger Penske accomplished at such a young age and how his success continues today, 55 years later.
