Car has been sitting on $50k, and with an hour left, I don't see it budging off of that. There have been several people raising issues with the provenance of the car being a born-with L78. Tach, brake system, and other issues.



I can't really get a good enough look at the engine stamp to determine very much. Does the location of the stamp play a factor? This stamp is in the extreme upper left corner of the pad. It looks to me like the well plug on the cylinder head would interfere with the gang stamp if the stamps are in fact placed on a fully assembled engine, as I think they are. Can anyone comment as to when / where the assembly stamps are done? I thought that they had moved the VIN stamp down near the oil filter area, since the pad is obstructed by the alternator when they moved it to the passenger side after 68. Yet this one is stamped with the VIN on the pad. It is a December car - did the VIN location change after this date?
