Dyno day was a success from the standpoint of sorting out the new engine and having it ready to install. A little disappointed in the HP numbers obviously but otherwise a great day...……...And I can't get the picture to post upright, sorry.

Engine made the most power with factory timing settings. As far as we can tell, it is a stock rebuild with the exception of lower compression (we think 10:1 pistons) Cam specs out as stock 409/409 solid lifter grind installed straight up. Block is a 1961 dated 068 casting with .030 over pistons = 415 cubic inches. Heads are stock 690's. Intake is a stock 881, with stock dual AFB's that Eric went through several years ago. With those torque numbers it should be a nice cruiser with a 2.54 first gear T-10 and a 3:36 rear end.

Now we are on to the next step of the project - getting the old engine out and the new one installed.
