And my 1972 Crosman 761XL. Got it for Christmas in 1972. They were made between 1972 and 1978. My Mom didn't want my Dad to get me one since I would "shoot my eye out with that thing".

And what happened the first time i used it? The BB bounced off the boulder that I had placed some bottles on, and ricocheted right back into my glasses. Just like in the movie! Luckily the glasses defected the BB. Never told Mom though!

I brought it out the other day to the local gun range. It was quite the hit! You could have brought a .50 cal machine gun and sat it next me and it wouldn't have been noticed the way the 761 was. All the old Boomers wanted to see it! It still shoots great. They had a "30-Yard Thursday" contest to hit a 3" balloon at 30 yards. I bullseyed the balloon on my second shot! (Had to pump it 11 times, first) :-)
