Wow, what a windbag !!! Wrote a whole book about it's documentation and "provenance" and never ONCE mentions the fact that it is totaled and parts are missing.

"1967 Corvette Sting Ray Sport Coupe 3x2 Tri-Power 427 - 400 HP - Close ratio 4-Speed - 4-wheel Power Disk Brakes offered here well below market value at $85,000 specifically to facilitate a quick private sale by owner and is available on the "first one with the money gets it" basis."

Isn't this about what one of these would sell for as a driver ?

"Often the documentation this car has alone can make $100,000 to $150,000 difference in value between two equal quality 1967 Corvette 427 Tri-Power 3x2 Sting Ray's, one having and the other not having the documentation this car comes with."

So he's, basically, justifying the price as though it is "free" because of the paperwork and "originality ???

"The value of its documentation alone exceeds the $85k+ difference in sale price between two equally restored cars, one with and the other lacking the originality, options, and distinguished provenance as this one has."

Truly sad that the seller has held onto this and been unreasonable about it's value. I'm sure knowledgeable people in the Corvette world would love to see this, once beautiful, car restored without, as Tim G said, "knowing they will be the last owner" because of the cost to restore.
