I have a soft spot for the old Corvette show cars. I worked for the VP of GM Design a few years ago, and one of the perks of the job was to “help” set up the old show cars at the various venues where we would display them from time to time. Got to drive a bunch of cool stuff - the Mako Shark concept, the Firebird I, etc. Felt very lucky to have that opportunity!
