I had so much fun on Thursday, Friday and Saturday that I actually never took any photos. There were so many folks with cameras and credentials that I figured my photos might not be missed. (I was really too busy talking cars to remember to take the camera out of the case).

On Friday at the track I had the opportunity to take a passenger down the strip with me. It was her first time in a car on a dragstrip, and not only did I have to tell her that it was OK to take her helmut off after the pass, but that she could open the window too.
I invited her on Saturday to pose for a picture for her family. That smile from the day before was still there.
Thanks to Phil Boris for making his wife get in my car, putting a borrowed helmet on her head while still in the pits, and sending her off with me. It made my day almost as much as it made hers.

My thanks to the Clarys and everybody else that made this event happen.
I waited 362 days for the SCR, and now I have to start the countdown again.
The saddest sight of the entire SCR.
See you all again next year.
