Default Re: 68 Biscayne centerlink hits oil pan

Being it's a modified car anyway, could you heat and bend both ends of the center link so the mid section is down lower to clear then wind all the tie rods out to extend the total length back to the same again?.
Or is there any another Pitman and idler arm even from something else that would work and help clear?.

Are there other engine motor mounts or frame mount stands that could lift the whole engine enough to clear?.
There's no other holes in the frame already that mounts the stands higher is there?.
If there is, you may need different mounts to match?.

Could you put 1/2" spacers between the frame mount stands using longer bolts?.
Considering the V shape, if spacing the stands you may have to mount them slightly higher on the frame or maybe try spacing both them and where the motor mounts themselves are bolted to the engine to arrive at a happy compromise?.

Whatever way you may achive the lift, be careful of clearances like fans to shrouds, exhaust, bellhousing and distrib to body etc..

Good luck!
