If this car had no race history, I'd say GG dog dishes, off the show room look. But this is the cars history/life. To put it back, would be somewhat like putting the Vitar copo, or Herbie's hugger, or the Ray Allen chevelle back to show room stock. A cars history, is like the story of your life. While a baby's born with a clean slate, he/ she are what they are in life by what they do. If he grows up to be a Hells Angel, you don't dress him up in a suit when he dies, and say "what a nice life he lived". In my old perverted logic, that's how I see these cars. Especially when there's documented evidence , and people alive to tell it's story. These cars say, "Iam, what I am". Tell my story. JMHO
