Default Re: NICB Reports - What Exactly Is One???

NICB's are still available, I have had them done very recently (sorry can't help anybody out at this time)1. They do not give the weight of the car. 2.Normally, The most you are going to get is yr, make, vin, invoice #, dealer delivered to and supposed date it was delivered to that dealer. Keep in mind that the dealer stated on the NICB may NOT be the actual selling dealer as a dealer "swap or transfer" may have taken place after the information posted to the system ie: transfer while the car was being delivered from the factory. I have also recently seen NICB's that have shown nothing, no explanation for it. Bottom line is that yes you still can get them, but you need to have a law enforcement person "really put thier neck on the line" to access the system. Start with cops that work specifically in stolen car units, especially in very large, active crime locatons.
