Smog was not common on 68 from what I recall. I know none of our impala's had it all BB and one was a l-72. My friend had a bunch of camaro's 67-69 one l-78 nothing on that one or his z/28's.
In fact Zedder his black 67 Z actually sold to Ontario somewhere around 87.It needed a lot of work but was an original documented car.
