It really can come out anyway you want it...It's like a giant sleeping bag.It folds out flat with a zipper all the way around it.Fold one side over and zip the other three.I can smell the gasoline from the tank vent when I unzip....Air tight.After six months of storage there are no ill effects from this vapor....No powder on any aluminum surface,haze on the glass,or dust of any kind......I use a California car cover,and the jacket parked on 1/2" thk. plywood with a plastic barrier between the wood and the concrete and again between the wood and Car Jacket......overkill maybe...but you only have one chance to get it right...
