dennis, the photo bucket site could not be easier. if you have large photos on your hard drive you can upload them and then change the size (easy one click options under "edit photo") before pasteing them into posts or giving a link to an attachment.
you can also change the mega pixel size before uploading by opening any photo with a "paint" or similar program already on your computer then selecting "image" then "attributes" and lower the pixel size there. any questions please ask.
