Yeah. The movie was good, it followed the book. The Tv show still has the support of the author, but they decided to move it into 'today' rather than the late 80's...and use a fictitious town, and fictional characters rather than the real people that the book follows.

Great show though. great book, worth reading. SI calls it the 'best football book of all time'
