Default Re: Let's all go junkin' !!!

Hardware has been something that I have always kept from every care I tore apart dating back into the early 80's and now have seperated bins for individual bolts, nuts and washers as well as a huge drawer full of misc hardware. Clips are also something I have always kept.

I always call on anyone selling a Chevelle as a parts car or parting one out. I tell them to call me when the car is stripped and I will finish it and they are always amazed at how much hardware I can remove from a car they thought was "stripped to the bone".

Regarding different head markings, this is also true on the Chevelles as I have found by the RBW or TR valve cover bolts and the 12 point horn attaching bolts (mainly on Leeds cars) as opposed to a 6 point. These are just a couple examples.
