a couple of years back I picked up a 65 malibu SS with a 6/pg from its original owner. drove it like that for a while then became bored. removed and wrapped up the six, pg,console,shifter and every nut to return to original. driving it now with 8/4spd,picked up all original shifter pedals console etc so it looks stock. retained manual steering. more fun to drive and dont have to worry about breaking the six trying to keep up with the big boys.
