I had a '66 Sport Deluxe 396 Beaumont. The original owner added the Turbo Jet 396 cross flag emblems to the fenders. They only came L34, bucket seats, and console. All Beaumonts came with the standard hood. All V8 cars came with the V8 emblem regardless of engine size. Nice sleeper look. The '67 SD396 cars got the SS Chevelle style hood along with louvres on the quarter panel. I don't think that GM ever put 427s in the Beaumonts. I probably would have had one had they done that.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
