Bastards tried to get my whole rig a year and a half ago... Caused over $2800 Dollars in damage to my truck in the process. This time I was just a little smarter then them. Rig was right where I parked it the next morning.
Nice Hotel, had video camera's and the local PD making rounds several times a night. I got the copy of the hotel video tape and the cops can be seen on the tape driving by. Thieves approached from the blind side of the video camera. Needless to say they were not deterred by the security. I won the day by making it so tough to get they gave up. I was lucky that is all. here is a pic of the stripped column.
