Remember that it wasn't just kids that bought muscle cars. A lot of successful middle aged guys bought them back then. Although most were tamer like GTO autos, 442s with auto and air etc. This was a pretty pricy piece back then. No long haired hippie kid bought this one. And the dude liked red!
