I can *unfortunately* vouch for that...we hit one in our dually a few years ago just south of Des Moines at somewhere north of 70mph...spent 2 days bored out of our minds waiting for the truck to be fixed. A HUGE doe came out of what looked like an alfalfa field, her guts exploded all over the engine compartment...that truck never smelled the same after that...
