Hey Sully,I own a collision repair facility & have a basf paint system. When i do a restoration & paint the firewall Or refinish frames,suspension,rearends,wheelhouses ect.,I use a Spies Hecker product called FP1004 Ralley Matt black . It is a single stage that dries between a dull & semi finish & is very durable.A local restoration shop turned me onto this a few years ago.Hope this helps, Jeff
