Re: 69 COPO Camaro
I also believe that Ebay taints a good car. Especially when its ran over and over again like the Green Yenko with the seller not knowing anything about a certain car and having a bad description the FIRST thing that comes to mind is whats wrong with it or does it have a has a bad history. I cant believe that car hasnt sold because 235k seems like a buy if it hadn't been run through the ringer a 100 times I might have interest in it. With all the Ebay scams and POOR Misleading descriptions of cars I think the real car buyers dont even look on there anymore thats why cars dont bring the money on that site. If that Green Yenko wasnt ran so many times on ebay and was just sent to Mecum, Barrett, or Russo or just a private sale it would have brought more than the asking price of 235k IMO. Also COPO's are really starting to take a big jump in price I know of quite a few that have sold for around the 200k mark and a couple around 250k and 1 over 300k and it was a GREEN AUTO car. PRICES ARE CONTINUING TO RISE.. If a guy wanted a KILLER yellow COPO 235K is not that out of line at all I believe. Color does play a factor but the buyers cant be to picky when it comes to low production hard to find desirable cars. As always it comes down to supply and demand.
